Humphrey Says He Supported Choice for Senator
San Juan (AP) - Vice-President-Elect Hubert Humphrey said yesterday he had supported Walter Mondale for appointment to the Senate seat he will soon vacate.
He told newsmen he was consulted about the appointment announced Tuesday by Minnesota's Gov. Karl Rolvaag.
Humphrey flew back to Washington late yesterday.
